Solution

The integration uses the latest 3D seat map plugin available from 3DDV. The updated integration also supports 3-step flows (area, block, seat) for optimal UX in the context a extended venues, like racing circuits.

Getting Started

Backend Configuration:

  1. After signing a contract with 3DDV, the team will provide the unique seatmap ID for your venue. (Note: SecuTix does not generate this ID.)

  2. Enter the ID in the Logical Configuration > Visualization at Organization level.

Points of attention:

  • MUST

  • The 3DDV Venue ID (External SeatMap ID) must be generated by 3DDV.

  • SecuTix does not host or generate these IDs.

  • If the Venue ID is incorrect (e.g., typo, invalid mapping), the seatmap will automatically fall back to the 2D seatmap.

  • The 3DDV map does not fully support zooming from block-to-seat flow in complex venues, as the system needs to load the second map for seat view.

  • Request set-up a new 3DDV map:

    • You still need to go through Service request.

    • Service team will export data for a desired venue in database and send to 3DDV team to draw 3D map → generate venueID.

    • Customers (or by the help of CSM team) will put this venueID in Logical configuration > Visualization > ExternalID (no need to config polygons or upload SVG file).
