UX improvement for high-volume ticket management
Do you work with sponsors and commercial affiliates that manage very large volumes of tickets? Several screens of the ticketshop have seen major performance and usability upgrade to manage high volumes of tickets.
Solution
The Distribution and Resale screens of the ticketshop have been improved with smart filtering and mandatory filtering for large datasets. Further back-end optimizations have also been done to ensure that users can now efficiently manage inventories of 50,000+ tickets with a responsive, intuitive interface.
Enhanced Resales Process
Improved performance when filtering and putting large quantities of tickets on resale.
Smart search in filters: The existing "Item (Match/Performance)" filter now includes a search bar that provides predictive suggestions once 2 or more characters are entered.
Enhanced Distribution Process
Improved distribution cart loading times for files with 50'000+ tickets.
New smart filters: New filters for Event/Competition/Product and Performance/Match, supporting smart search and multiple selection.
Mandatory filtering for large files: When the system detects that a user exceeds 10’000 tickets, it will require the user to apply filters before loading any tickets. A new "Apply" button must be clicked to load the results. By default, the first value of the filters will be applied to ensure the user does not trigger by mistake the retrieval of all tickets. However, the filters does not prevent the user from applying looser filtering to retrieve a larger set.
Filter as default
Smart search
Case 1: Fewer than 10'000 upcoming tickets

The "Apply" button is visible. Users must select a Product (and for Events/Competitions, a Performance/Match) and click "Apply" to load any tickets.
Default Values:
Product Filter: First item in the list is selected.
Performance/Match Filter: First item in the list is selected.
