This is an extension of the Friends and Family functionality. Please note that it only supports products where the assignment of the tickets to the friends and family is mandatory
Friends and Family now allows you to prevent the assignment of age-restricted tickets to non eligible friends/family.
Setting up the age range at the tariff level
It is now possible in the tariff setup screen to select the age restriction field and enter a minimum and/or maximum age for the current tariff. Please note that both age boundaries are inclusive .
Examples:
Minimum = 65, Maximum stays empty : this tariff is for contact being 65 years old or older.
Minimum is empty, Maximum = 17: this tariff is for contacts being 17 years old or less.
Minimum = 5, Maximum = 17 : this tariff is for contacts being between 5 and 17 years old. (both included)
The mandatory field called Age threshold can be used to customize at what which date the contact needs to be eligible for the tariff.
In the screenshot example:
At product start date: the contact needs to be 18 or less at the date of the product (or at the date of the purchase for a non dated product)
At purchase date: the contact needs to be 18 or less at the date of the purchase
At fixed date: the contact needs to be 18 or less at a predefined fixed date. (this could be the start of the season for example)
Contact point of vue in the ticketshop
In this example we have a contact that selected a ticket with a tariff less than 10years old.
When trying to assign the ticket to his friends and family contacts. They are all greyed out except the ones eligible for the tariff.
Please note that if a contact did not provide his birth date, they will only be able to purchase/ be assigned unrestricted tariffs.
Please note that the description of the tariff is only here for demo purposes, and does not reflect what would be displayed to the contact. The description provided at the tariff level would be used.
