External email sender - BREVO
Part 1 – Brevo side
Before configuring anything in S-360, make sure the following are ready in your Brevo account.
Step 1 - A Brevo account is must have
If your organization does not yet have a Brevo account, create one at brevo.com. Make sure the account is set up under your organization's name
Step 2 - Generate an API key
The API key is used by SECUTIX to authenticate with your Brevo account when sending emails.
Log in to your Brevo account.
GoSettings → SMTP & API → API keys & MCP tab.
Click Generate API key.
Give the key a name (e.g. "SECUTIX") and save it.
Copy and store the API key — you will need it in Part 2.
Step 3 - Add and verify a sender identity
The sender identity is the email address that will appear as the sender when recipients receive emails.
Go to Settings → Senders, Domains & IPs → Senders tab.
Click Add sender.
Enter the sender name and email address your organization wants to use.
Verify the email address following Brevo's instructions.
Note down the verified email address — you will need it in Part 2.
For better email deliverability, Brevo recommends using a domain-based email address (e.g. noreply@yourorganisation.com) rather than a personal or freemail address (e.g. Gmail). Make sure DKIM and DMARC are also configured on your domain.
Part 2 – S-360 Side
Once your Brevo account is ready, a technical administrator completes the following steps in S-360 (this manipulation is done by SECUTIX team).
Step 1 - Enable External Sender at institution level
In S-360, navigate to Institution configuration.
Find the parameter External Sender Enabled.
Set the value to True.
Save the changes.
Step 2 - Retrieve Shipment Mode IDs
Before creating the interface, you need to identify which shipment mode IDs you want to route through Brevo (e.g. transactional email, marketing email, or both).
In S-360, navigate to the Shipment Mode configuration screen.
Open the shipment mode you want to route via Brevo (e.g. "Marketing email" or the relevant transactional mode).
Look at the URL in your browser — the shipment mode ID is included as a numeric value in the URL.
Note down the ID. Repeat for each shipment mode you want to include.
Step 3 - Create the External Sender Interface
In S-360, navigate to Tools → External Interface → List of Interfaces.
Click + New.
On the interface type selection screen, select Distributing partner.
On the next screen, select Brevo Email as the type.
Click Next. You will see the sender configuration screen.
Fill in the following fields:
