My Own Domain, SECUTIX SSL Certificate, SECUTIX CDN

    • As you’ve chosen to use your own domain with SECUTIX managing your SSL certificate and CDN, please follow the steps outlined below.

    Pre-requiste:

    Before you begin, make sure you have created a CNAME record in your DNS to point your hostname to the SECUTIX service. The exact CNAME value you need will be provided on the page where you create your Point of Sale.

    After obtaining the CNAME value, please ask your technical or IT team to update your DNS with the following:

    ---

    Please modify the following CNAME in the DNS of your domain:

    New_desired_hostname IN CNAME Institution_Code-xxxxxxxxx.shop.secutix.com.

    Important: Don’t forget to include the trailing dot at the end of both the hostname and the CNAME value.

    ---

    For example:

    New_desired_hostname: ticketing.museemosa.fr.

    Institution_Code-xxxxxxxxx.shop.secutix.com.: mosa-634742279.shop.secutix.com

    So…
    ticketing.museemosa.fr. IN CNAME mosa-634742279.shop.secutix.com.

     

    Process to activate your new Point

    Once the above is complete:

    1. While selecting your new Point of Sale, choose “CDN Management”.

    1. Then make sure “Manage by SECUTIX” is selected under the SSL section and select OK.

    1. Allow up to 24 hours for the process to complete.

      1. During this time, a loading icon will appear next to your Point of Sale.

      2. Once the process is finished, a green checkmark will appear.

    1. When you see the green checkmark, your new Point of Sale is ready to be activated.
