Labels and Localization
The TIXNGO SDK supports dynamic language selection, allowing developers to provide a localized user experience across multiple regions.
Language Standards:
Follows ISO 639-1 format (2-letter, lowercase codes such as
en
,fr
,ar
).
Configuration Methods:
During SDK Initialization
Specify the default language (defaultLanguage
) and supported languages (supportLanguages
) in the SDK config. At Runtime
Change the language dynamically using the SDK’s runtime update method.
Translation Fallback and Syncing
To ensure smooth translation handling even in limited-connectivity scenarios, the SDK uses a combination of remote dynamic loading and offline local fallback.
Translation Sources:
Crowdin Integration (optional but recommended): Organizers using the "Dynamic load from Crowdin" feature will benefit from:
Real-time loading of updated translation strings
Automatic caching of translation data on the device
SDK Local Assets:
Default translations are bundled with the SDK
Used when Crowdin is unavailable or not configured
Language Scope in TIXNGO System
App Language: Defines UI language inside the mobile SDK (e.g., Arabic UI for Middle East users).
Preference Language of Spectator: Stored in user profile, used for email communication .
Customization Limitations
Despite extensive support for localization, the following limitations apply:
Language cannot be changed while offline. Switching language requires an active network connection to fetch updated content or validate available translations.
Local fallback translations are standardized across all fan apps using TIXNGOSDK.
If Crowdin is used and available during login, updated strings are downloaded and cached for future offline use.
