Share email of logged in internet user with third party software

Problem

Some of our customers need to provide the email of the logged in internet user to some third party software, for example to widgets provided by third party companies.

Solution

The email of the logged in internet user is stored in the data layer. For sake of data privacy, the storage of this information must be enabled explicitly.

How to use this new feature?

• Update your data privacy policy by mentioning to whom you will provide the email and for which purpose.
• Request a service to the SecuTix support team to enable the storage of the email in the data layer. Create a label in the point of sales' parameters, with code webTracking.userInfoTrackingType and value "2" (without quotes) in each language.
• After activation, the email (hashed with SHA-256 method) will be available in the data layer with the name hashEmail.
